Pam Farris spends her time cultivating rising leaders as the Executive Director of Leadership West Virginia (LWV), a statewide program to develop, strengthen and connect leaders in the state. LWV, a not-for profit statewide training and professional development program is an affiliate of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The 50+ class members selected each year come from diverse backgrounds, industries and geographic locations. Participants who are selected through a competitive application process travel across the state for 8 two-day sessions to learn about the challenges and successes within the state. Pam has the responsibility of planning, implementing and raising the funds to pay for the yearly program. She also oversees the alumni engagement program of the group’s 1,300 graduates.
Prior to her current role, Pam was a Client Relations Manager with Wells Fargo Disability Management. She is a graduate of the WVU School of Business & Economics. She serves on the Black Diamond Girl Scout Board of Directors and is a member of the Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club and is a recent past president. Pam recently worked with the cultivation committee of the Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) and helped form the Charleston chapter where she is a member of the program committee.
